Following 11 years in the Car Rental sector working for Avis & Hertz, Carol joined British Airways in 1998 as Leisure Sales Manager where she remained until 2002 when she moved to Australian retailer Flight Centre as Commercial & Marketing Director. Here she managed the rapid UK expansion overseeing the growth of high street outlets, and call centre operations.
Carol was drawn into the online arena by Lastminute.com in 2004 where she worked as Director of Flights & Dynamic Packaging for 18 months. From here she joined Thomas Cook as Director of Scheduled Air, & was promoted to Director of Ecommerce where she was responsible for www.thomascook.com & www.thomascooksignature.com.
Leaving Thomas Cook to join The Travelzest plc as Divisional Managing Director for start up www.flight.co.uk she remained for 18 months prior to taking up key assignments for the concierge business Ten UK & online gaming company Sportingbet, a global player in the Gaming sector.
A privately owned company established in 2004, Alltria develop leading-edge booking engines, and provide bespoke development, consultancy and design services to the travel sector. End customers are provided with systems capable of multi component tailor made holidays from independent suppliers in one environment.
Alltria provide product from a number of bed banks, flight consolidators, and other ancillary items and can integrate with a number of reservation system and will be exhibiting at the Travel Technology show on stand A37 on the 10th and 11th of February at Earls Court 2.
